Recent Hope House Guest
Testimony

“The Lord truly met me during my time at the Hope House - I felt so comfortable and refreshed by His Spirit. The prayers prayed by the owners prior to my arrival really prepared the way for my time with the Lord. As I sat by the fire and looked out, I couldn't stop thanking Him for this experience, the time He had carved out in my schedule to get away with Him, and for the sweet hospitality offered by those who had carefully and intentionally designed this retreat space. I look forward to scheduling another time at the Hope House!”

Hope House Guest
Testimony

“I anticipated needing time to quiet my heart in order to be able to commune with the Lord, but I was enveloped in quiet from the moment I stepped through the door of the house. It was such a blessing to be greeted by a personal note expressing that my time there had been covered in prayer. I knew it was true. I felt released from any need to strive for the presence of the Lord. He met me and spoke to me through His word and prayer in very meaningful ways. I am very grateful for the ministry of Hope Ridge and have recommended it to a number of my friends.”

We believe in finding joy in all circumstances because Jesus is always with us. "I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy be complete." John 15:11

RESPECT

God has created all people in his image, through differences and similarities we show respect to all. "Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor." 1 Peter 2:17

LOVE

Love is fundamental in who God is, we will love others unconditionally and are devoted to one another in love. "We love because he first loved us." 1 John 4:19

SELFLESS

Being generous with kindness and selfless service, putting others first with our time and money. Just as Jesus did with us. "Love each other like the members of your family. Be the best at showing honor to each other." Romans 12:10

PEACE

We value rest and tranquility, a divine peace. Ultimately peace is a gift from God. "And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7

REST

We believe that our Lord and saviour is a place of refuge and He yearns for you to come to Him, so He can provide you rest. Through His gentleness and mercy you will find restoration for your soul. "Come to Me and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and burden is light." Matthew 11:29-30

HOPE

We have a firm assurance in God. We have a confident expression in his guaranteed promises. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may be abound in joy." Romans 15:13

COMMUNITY

We love gathering with others for God's kingdom, bringing encouragement, caring and fun. We find great enjoyment in being with our community. "For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there with them." Matthew 18:20
